Volume Lashes is the most luxurious looking lash extension style. While in the Classic Lash style only 1 lash extension is applied to 1 natural lash, Volume lashing is the technique in which 3-7 extensions are applied to each individual lash.

Volume lashes are perfect for someone who likes to wear more makeup and is after the more dramatic look. They are also good if you have very sparse, fine or weak natural lashes as they will fill your overall lash look more than a Classic set would.

To apply the 3-7 lash extensions, your lash artist will create a fan. These fans are created on the spot, at your appointment to limit the amount of adhesive going on the lashes. Some lash artists will pre-make lash fans before the appointment which means the adhesive will have to be applied twice – first when making a fan and second when the fan is applied to your lashes. This can make the lash extensions heavier than they should be which can result in discomfort and damage.

Even though having Volume Lashes means having more lash extensions, they are not necessarily heavier than Classic Lashes, as the Volume lash extensions are thinner and lighter in weight. The weight of the Volume Lash extensions is also more evenly distributed around the natural lash to protect your lashes from damage.

VOLUME LASHES - FULL SET

Full Set is the 1st appointment when lash extensions are applied to your natural lashes. When you come in for the 1st time we will discuss your preferred lash styles and the most suitable length, thickness & curve of the lashes for you. A lot depends on the shape of your face, eyes and your natural lash health, so it is important that we find a good balance between your personal preference and what suits you & your lashes best. 

A Full Set appointment for Volume Lashes takes 1 hour and 45 minutes.

VOLUME LASHES - INFILLS

Your subsequent appointments are called infills. Infills should be done every 2-3 weeks and Volume Lashes infills take 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete. 

Why are infills needed? Your natural lashes are replaced by new lashes every 6-8 weeks and with them some of your extensions will fall out as well. If your infill appointment is more than 4 weeks from your last appointment, many of the lash extensions will have grown out or fallen out and your appointment will need to be considered a new Full Set.
